The following changes were implemented on May 17, 2014.
New capabilities will be introduced around importing new users and management of existing userids via .csv (comma-separated values) files. The files can be create with data extracted from Active Directory or any other user management systems. There will be an option to send an email notification to newly added users.
This function will only be available to individuals with the UserAdmin role and will appear as a separate option under the Administration page. The existing Excel Import action will be removed.
Each organization will have the option to define unique password administration rules. The following are examples of the available rules:
- Minimum password length
- Character type content (e.g. upper case, lower case, numeric)
- Expiry duration
- Password re-use intervals
There is no requirement to create a password policy. Navvia will continue to use the current system default password rules if no customer policy rules are defined.
This function will only be available to individuals with the UserAdmin role and will appear as a separate option under the Administration page.
NEW ServiceNow® PROCESS TEMPLATES
A new set of process templates will be added to Navvia that are aligned to both ITIL® and the baseline ServiceNow® product. These provide an excellent starting point for implementing new processes in ServiceNow® and include technical design specifications aligned to ServiceNow®.
These templates can be downloaded into a Design Workspace by selecting "ServiceNow® Accelerators" from the Navvia Library drop-down list when creating a new process.
