There may be a need to have the tasks and evidence activities assigned (or that will be assigned) to one person to be temporarily handled by another person (e.g., because of vacation, illness etc. of that first person). The Delegation capability allows the creation and modification of delegations to be done other than by the assignee.
While a basic user can assign existing Tasks and Evidence records assigned to them to another person, they cannot do this for Tasks and Evidence records that have not already been scheduled.
From the Execute -> Delegation screen, select the Delegation Record that you want to take action on by clicking the Edit Icon before the Delegation Record
It will show the Delegation Record details
You are able to modify:
The User name (by choosing from the drop-down list)
The Delegate name (by choosing from the drop-down list)
The start date for the delegation
- The end date for the delegation
The “Active” flag (by toggling it on or off)
