Each process produces tangible outputs. These outputs can take the form of products or data and can be delivered to a user or stakeholder, or they can be used as inputs to other processes. Outputs are measurable in terms of quantity and quality.

1. Click on the Edit edit button.png icon to update the Output or New Output to create a new one

2. Update all fields

3. Select Create or Update to apply the changes

4. Select New from Common (to select an output from a common list of outputs that may have been identified in other processes)

5. Select Copy to apply the changes



Field Descriptions

  • Name: Provide a brief and meaningful name for this output
  • Description: Provide a detailed description for this output
  • Recipient Provide one or more sources for this output e.g. Requester, Submitter, affected users, other ITSM processes
  • Common: Check if this output is suitable for use in other processes

Steps to Associate with a Task

1. Select an item from the list

2. Click on the Associate with Task action

3. Update all fields

4. Click on the Associate button
