Purpose 


Generate a TDD (Technical Design Document) containing all items captured under the Specifications page. 


The TDD is an Excel file containing multiple tabs. 


TDD Document Content

  • Data Specifications
    • Provides a list of all of the fields (columns) and their attributes
  • Tool Specifications 
    • Provides a list of all of the fields (columns) and their attributes
  • Triggers
    • Triggers can cause a change in state and/or a notification to be sent
  • States
    • During the process lifecycle, the corresponding record will typically move into different states
  • State Transitions
    • This list marries States with Triggers to show what causes a change from one state to another
  • Notification Content
    • The actual notification message that will be sent (based on a trigger firing)
  • Notifications
    • Who should be notified and what triggers this notification
  • Notification Matrix
    • A nice visual representation of notifications that includes who gets notified, when and what they see
  • To-Do List
    • A simple project management tab aggregates all of the data + tool specifications
  • Custom Sheets
    • (Optional) All ad hoc sheets that were created using the Spreadsheets facility.
